Gabonese President arrives in Beijing for state visit to China

Gabonese President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema arrived in Beijing on Thursday, during his five-day state visit to China. In Beijing, President Nguema is scheduled to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping as well as Premier Li Qiang.

The visit highlights the 52nd anniversary of diplomatic ties between China and Gabon, focusing on expanding Chinese investment in local raw material processing, infrastructure, job creation, and bilateral trade.
