Five dead in Amazon cargo plane that overshot runway at Miami airport

At least five people were killed and five more injured when an Amazon cargo plane overshot the runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday and crashed into several vehicles.

"  Upon overshooting the diagonal runway, the jet crossed into an adjacent area/roadway, striking multiple vehicles before coming to a stop on its belly and catching fire. Over 60 Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units and roughly 200 emergency personnel responded. The Federal Aviation Administration issued a temporary ground stop, closing all runways and taxiways at the airport for several hours, leading to hundreds of flight delays and cancellations.
