



South Korean President Lee Jae Myung paid a state visit to France at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron. President Lee attended the Lumiere Summit which is held in Saint-Paul-de-Vence near Nice, is a new international conference on the future of the film and video content industry.
During the event, both presidents delivered keynote remarks to over 200 creators, policymakers, and industry leaders from more than 30 countries. The two leaders later unveiled the Lumière Partnership, a joint investment agreement where France and South Korea each pledged 581 million USD over a five-year period starting in 2027 to boost international co-productions and support screen industries.
