Turkmen Akhal-Teke Beauty Contest and conference open in Netherlands

The World Championship for Akhal-Teke horses and an international beauty contest are taking place at the modern “Peelbergen” equestrian centre in the Dutch town of Kronenberg in Netherlands.

This major European equestrian hub is hosting participants and guests from 25 countries. Over a hundred horses have arrived in Europe for these prestigious competitions, including thirty elite horses from Turkmenistan. The program includes a showcase of Akhal-Teke horses, as well as dressage and show jumping competitions.

The jury will select the world’s most beautiful Akhal-Teke, evaluating body proportions, graceful movement, and the breed’s characteristic golden coat. The contest run from September 4 to 6 and the final day will wrap up with remaining cultural performances, exhibition closings, and departure.
