Guinea buries 36 victims of Conakry landfill collapse

Guinea held a mass funeral on Friday to bury 36 victims of the Dar-es-Salam landfill collapse in the capital city of Conakry. Heavy overnight torrential rains triggered the landslide in August 23, burying residents while they slept. Authorities confirmed that 17 of the 36 victims was buried in the mass funeral while about 20 other people remained hospitalized following the tragedy.
