China, Egypt deepen ties in Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone

China and Egypt are accelerating development in the bilateral TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone to expand industrial and trade partnerships. The TEDA zone has attracted more than 3.8 billion dollars in total investment, hosting over 200 companies and supporting more than 10,000 local jobs.

Besides, the cooperation zone is shifting toward low-carbon infrastructure, incorporating solar power projects and circular economy initiatives. Expanded sectors include advanced manufacturing, electric vehicles, renewable energy, aerospace, and the digital economy.
