NASA, ESA astronauts conduct spacewalk outside space station

NASA astronaut Jessica Meir and European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adenot concluded a spacewalk outside the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday for spacecraft navigation, scientific research and station maintenance.

The mission aimed to replace a retroflector supporting spacecraft navigation during rendezvous and docking operations and a high-definition camera on the station’s truss, among other tasks.  It was Meir's seventh and Adenot's third spacewalk, also the 284th spacewalk in support of ISS assembly, maintenance, and upgrades.
