Libya: Syrian embassy reopens after 14 years of diplomatic break

Syrian Foreign Minister Assaad al-Chaibani, on a visit to the Libyan capital, is meeting with his Libyan counterpart, Taher Al-Baour, in order to strengthen ties between the two countries following a diplomatic break caused by the conflicts they have gone through. On the sidelines of this meeting, Assaad al-Chaibani is inaugurating the Syrian embassy in Tripoli, which has been closed for 14 years.
