Colombian President announces extradition of guerrilla leaders to the US

Colombian President Abelardo de la Espriella announced the extradition of five leaders of FARC dissident groups to the United States, including peace negotiators from the previous administration.

Those names include Willinton Henao Gutierrez, alias "Mocho Olmedo"; Carmen Ebelio Castillo Carrillo, alias "Muñeca"; Geovany Andres Rojas, alias "Araña"; Gabriel Yepes Mejia, alias "HH"; and Freddy Castillo Carrillo, alias "Pinocho". Three are currently in Colombian custody, while the extradition of the remaining two will proceed once they are apprehended.
