Lebanese President Aoun meets with Italian PM Meloni in Taranto

The discussions focused on regional negotiations with Israel, the status of southern Lebanon, and the gradual future transition or withdrawal timeline of UNIFIL peacekeepers. Meloni reaffirmed Italy's commitment to facilitating peaceful dialogue and offered to host further session talks between regional parties in Italy.
