Angelique Kidjo immortalized on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Five-time Grammy winner Angélique Kidjo on Tuesday became the first Black African artist to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her Hollywood star in the Recording category was celebrated with speeches by actor Willem Dafoe and Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. Born in Benin, Kidjo has built an international career spanning more than 40 years and 18 albums.
