France launches pure gold Marianne coin as an investment product

The Monnaie de Paris launched the Marianne-or, a pure gold investment coin, also known as bullion, which can be held either physically or in dematerialized form, in which case the gold is securely held by the institution. The public institution, which has been producing French coins for over 1,000 years, will mint these new gold coins in the heart of Paris, on the banks of the Seine, where it has been based since 1775.
