De la Espriella sworn in as Colombia’s leader, vows narco-terrorism crackdown

Abelardo de la Espriella was sworn in as the 43rd President of Colombia on Friday, vowing to relentlessly defeat narco-terrorism. Speaking at a military base in Cali, He stated that criminal gangs and narco-terrorists must submit to the rule of law or face state force, marking a definitive halt to the previous administration's talks.
