Chinese FM meets Tajik counterpart on the sidelines of SCO meet in Kyrgyzstan

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Tajik counterpart Sirojiddin Muhriddin on Friday, focusing on energy, connectivity, and security cooperation. Both sides met on the sidelines of the Meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States in Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, Wang Yi stated China plans to grow work in energy, transport links, and anti-terrorism security with Tajikistan. Muhriddin noted that China is currently the top trade and economic partner for his country.
