Better Communication Services : MPT opens 27 new mobile stations, upgrades 9 stations

Myanma Posts and Telecommunications (MPT), under the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications, has expanded its telecommunications network by opening 27 new mobile base stations and upgrading nine existing stations to the 4G LTE system across eight regions and states.

The opening ceremony for the Chinsu Village mobile station was held on 17 July at Chinsu Village in Thitseintpin Village-tract of Tatkon Township in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area. The mobile station was inaugurated by Deputy Minister U Thet Win Aung and concerned officials.

It is learnt that, the construction and installation of the 27 new mobile base stations and the upgrading of nine existing stations to the 4G LTE network were completed successfully within the scheduled timeframe. The expansion is expected to improve mobile connectivity and provide faster, more reliable telecommunications services for people in the project areas, supporting the country's ongoing digital development efforts.
