Prabowo Praises PM Modi, Cites India’s Development as Inspiration

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto Tuesday hosted a banquet lunch in honour of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his state visit to Jakarta. President Prabowo praised Modi’s leadership, describing India’s development journey as a source of inspiration.

Prabowo noted that India and Indonesia share similar challenges, including large populations and frequent natural disasters. Despite these obstacles, India has made remarkable development gains that Prabowo has openly acknowledged learning from India’s successful initiatives and hopes to adopt many of the approaches that have contributed to the country’s progress.
