Landslide Hits Kerala’s Wayanad Amid Heavy Rain

In Kerala of southern India, a landslide triggered by heavy rainfall struck Wayanad district on Tuesday. Due to heavy rain, the landslide occurred near Meenakshi Bridge where construction was underway for a tunnel road linking Malappuram and Wayanad districts.

Rescue operations were launched immediately after the incident. Personnel from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), along with other emergency teams, have been deployed to the affected area as authorities continue rescue and response efforts.
