Finance Minister applauds Indian experts

India's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman continued to be in France on an official four-day visit aimed at enhancing economic cooperation and promoting investment, technology collaboration and innovation.

The Minister delivered the keynote address to the Indian diaspora at a gathering held at Marseille on Sunday. Later, she also interacted with the members of the Indian diaspora. Earlier, the Minister visited the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor in Cadarche, south of France, where she witnessed a presentation and India’s contribution to ITER.

The Minister also interacted with Indian professionals from Larsen & Toubro who are collaborating for building the world’s largest experimental nuclear fusion reactor.  ITER is a large-scale international collaboration aimed at building the world’s largest experimental Tokamak nuclear fusion reactor.
