South Korea's exports hit a record high in June on strong semiconductor demand, surpassing USD 100 billion for the first time. Up until now, only Germany, China, and the United States exported more than USD 100 billion dollars per month.

South Korea joins the top 4 exporters in the world with the latest figure, becoming biggest contributor to the stellar export performance in the chips industry. Monthly chip export surpassed thirty billion dollars for the past three months and it now broke through the USD 40 billion mark for the first time.
