India, Japan hold delegation level talks, sign MoUs to bolster cooperation

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Japanese counterpart Sanae Takaichi held the 16th India-Japan Annual Summit in New Delhi on Thursday. Both leaders signed multiple Memorandums of Understandings to deepen their Special Strategic and Global Partnership, with a major focus on artificial intelligence, economic security, and energy resilience.

Further strengthening economic ties, the two leaders agreed to collaborate on mineral exploration. Both nations reaffirmed an overarching goal to channel 10 trillion Yen of Japanese private sector investment into India over the next decade.
