Japan's Takaichi arrives in India for trade talks

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday for her official visit to India, with trade, technology and security ties on the agenda. Takaichi is due to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during her three-day visit, which comes as their countries.

She aims to deepen Japan's strategically aligned trusted partnership with India, put forward concrete cooperation in economic security and promote investment and innovation by companies from the two countries. An economic forum in which more than 150 representatives from Japan's business communities will participate will be held in India.
