Pesona Minangkabau 2026 took place in Indonesia

The annual cultural festival in West Sumatra, Indonesia called the “Pesona Minangkabau 2026” has begun two iconic places, namely Istano Basa Pagaruyung and the courtyard of Cindua Mato.

As the largest festival in West Sumatra, Pesona Minangkabau 2026 is part of the tourism ministry’s agenda, “Kharisma Event Nusantara 2026,” in collaboration with the creative economy ministry to attract more Indonesian and foreign visitors to the region.

Throughout its three-day event, tourists and local residents can enjoy various cultural attractions that showcase the richness of West Sumatra’s ethnic Minangkabau tradition, customs, art, culinary heritage, and social life, which continue to thrive to this day.
