Tour in Yangon: Renovation and maintenance works inspected

Yangon Region Minister for Development Affairs and Yangon City Development Committee (YCDC) Chairman Yangon Mayor U Myo Myint Aung inspected the broadcasting operations at City FM Radio (City Broadcasting Department) in Bahan Township on Sunday.

At the meeting hall, Yangon Mayor heard reports on the history and objectives of City FM Radio, broadcasting operations, technical matters, daily programming, and the renovation of the broadcasting building.

The Mayor instructed officials to complete the construction in accordance with prescribed regulations, quality standards and the designated timeframe.

The Mayor and officials also inspected the YCDC Engineering Department (Water and Sanitation), the 20-million-gallon Kokkai Reservoir, the 10-million-gallon Reservoir in Dagon Township, and Sewage Pump Station No. 15 in Kyauktada Township.

During the inspections, he coordinated necessary maintenance and repair works to ensure the efficient operation of the water supply system and the long-term sustainability of the reservoirs.
