Japan’s Defense Minister Nakatani met with his S.Korean counterpart

Japanese Defense Minister Gen Nakatani met with his South Korean counterpart Ahn Gyu-back in Seoul on Sunday to solidify bilateral security ties. Both sides agreed to pursue collaboration in cutting-edge science and technology, specifically focusing on Artificial Intelligence, space, and unmanned systems.

They reaffirmed their commitment to promoting both bilateral security ties and three-way cooperation with the United States. In order to build mutual trust, the ministers agreed to make reciprocal ministerial visits regular practice and foster military personnel exchanges.
