World MSME Day: Awareness sessions and recognition event

A series of awareness and discussion sessions related to World MSME Day were held on Saturday afternoon at the Myanmar International Convention Centre-1 in Nay Pyi Taw.

The Myanmar Computer Federation Chairman delivered a presentation on “Digital Opportunities for Future Modern MSMEs,” followed by a panel-style discussion.

MSME entrepreneurs also raised questions, which were answered in detail by officials. In the evening, a ceremony was held to honor organizations that supported the successful organization of World MSME Day events.

Union Minister for Industry and MSME Development Dr. Charlie Than, deputy ministers, representatives from associations and MSME entrepreneurs attended the event.

Certificates of appreciation were presented to various organizations, including the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Myanmar Rice Federation, Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network, and Myanmar Food Processors and Exporters Association, among others, in recognition of their contributions.
