TOT Training: Legal awareness course for local authorities

A completion ceremony of 5-day Training-of-Trainers (TOT) on legal awareness was held on June 26 at Manaw ShwePyi Hall of Myitkyina Township Assembly Office.

The training covered 11 legal subjects, including the 2008 Constitution, Penal Code, the Law relating to Peaceful Assembly and Peaceful Procession, Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law, Gambling Law, Criminal Procedure Code and Evidence Law, for 552 ward and village tract administrators from 11 townships.

During the event, completion Certificates, cash prizes, and certificates of honor were awarded to outstanding trainees.
