India, US discuss AI, chips, critical minerals at the Pax Silica Summit

India and the United States on Friday convened high-level discussions at the Pax Silica Summit in Washington DC, focusing on deepening strategic cooperation for AI, semiconductor supply chains, and critical minerals.

The bilateral dialogue aims to de-risk technology ecosystems and build resilient, trusted supply chains among partner nations. India's participation aligns with the broader US-led framework which now includes over 35 countries and the EU. This framework prioritizes secure, trusted tech ecosystems from mineral extraction to data centers.
