India EAM begins Mongolia, South Korea trip

Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar on Monday began a four-day official visit to Mongolia and the Republic of Korea aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and advancing India's partnerships with both countries. Jaishankar arrived in Mongolia on a two-day visit, during which he will meet the Mongolian leadership and hold discussions with his counterpart, B. Battsetseg.

The External Affairs Minister said he looks forward to fruitful engagements to further advance the special partnership between the two countries. In the second leg of his visit, Dr. Jaishankar will travel to the Republic of Korea on June 24 and 25. During the visit, he will hold talks with his South Korean counterpart, Cho Hyun.
