PM Modi, President Macron inaugurate Bharat Innovates 2026

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron jointly inaugurated the Bharat Innovates 2026 summit in Nice, France on Sunday. The three-day event is a flagship initiative designed to showcase India's deep-tech and startup capabilities, aiming to connect 120 Indian innovators with over 500 global investors.

The global accelerator initiative highlights India's rise to the world's third-largest startup ecosystem, with Modi pitching India as the premier destination to design, develop, and deploy technologies for the world. The platform highlights 13 critical sectors, including AI, advanced computing, semiconductors, space technology, biotechnology, and healthcare.
