Cross-Strait businesses sign deals in Xiamen to expand cooperation

Businesses across the Chinese Taiwan Strait on Saturday signed significant agreements in Xiamen, Fujian province, to expand cooperation.

The deals primarily focus on boosting the agricultural and fishery trade from the Strait to China, acting as a phased outcome of broader 2026 economic and cultural policies. The representatives also expressed hope that the two sides would strengthen communication and dialogue in a spirit of goodwill, enabling more cooperation initiatives to deliver concrete results.
