Chongqing International Animation Film Week closes

The 2026 Chongqing International Animation Film Week concluded on Friday, in the Yongchuan District of Chongqing, China, marking a major milestone for global industry collaboration and technological innovation in animation.

The festival facilitated heavy business collaboration, with 53 project agreements signed and the joint launch of the Western Creative Center by China Media Group and the Chongqing municipal government. Alongside industry forums, the week featured public events like a film consumption season, creative markets, and outdoor screenings of classic animated titles across the city.
