India pushes tech adoption & cooperation at BRICS meet

The 16th BRICS Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting convened in Indore, India on Friday. The summit focused on inclusive agricultural systems, with special emphasis on empowering smallholder farmers, women, and youth to secure global food security.

At the two-day meeting, India is actively using its BRICS chairmanship to champion technological integration, digital public infrastructure, and capacity building across the Global South. At recent working groups, India emphasized bridging the digital divide and expanding technological access for small businesses.
