MSME Development: Coordination meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

A coordination meeting on the development of MSME businesses was held in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday. Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Kan Myint Than attended the meeting and stressed the importance of ensuring access to raw materials, markets, financing, electricity, technology, and skilled workers to support local industries.

He also encouraged the expansion of agriculture- and livestock-based businesses, import-substitution industries, and export-oriented manufacturing. Officials discussed ways to improve product quality, packaging, vocational training, business registration, and market access for MSME products. The meeting focused on strengthening MSMEs to boost economic growth and create more business opportunities in Nay Pyi Taw.
