India’s Nalanda University signs MoU with Mongolia

Nalanda University in India on Tuesday signed two historic Memorandums of Understanding in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, with the National University of Mongolia and the Gandantegchinlen Monastery to strengthen centuries-old cultural and educational ties.

Signed by Universities’ authorities, this collaboration features joint research and academic exchanges in fields such as Dharma studies, Buddhist philosophy, history, ecology, and Sanskrit and Tibetan languages. This agreement also aims to bolster the study and preservation of rare Buddhist manuscripts and fosters deeper cultural dialogue.
