Inspection of Development Works: Kayah State CM inspected development works in Loikaw

The Kayah State Government is continuously implementing development projects aimed at transforming Loikaw, the state capital, into a green and clean city in line with urban standards, while also promoting regional development. Accordingly, Wednesday morning, Chief Minister U Aunt Maw, together with responsible officials, toured and inspected ongoing activities related to urban cleanliness, beautification, and greening works.

First, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the work being carried out along both sides of Thiri Mingalar Road in Lawdhamma Ward, Loikaw, including digging drainage ditches and clearing garbage and waste from the drains. They also inspected land improvement work and the planting of ornamental flowers at the State Literacy Commemoration Park located at the corner of Kandarawaddy Road and No. (4) Road.

In addition, they inspected Nursery No. (1) and No. (2), established by the Loikaw Township Development Committee, where more than 34,000 saplings of 25 different species are being cultivated. The Chief Minister also gave necessary instructions and guidance to the responsible officials, it’s reported.
