Inspection of Factories: MOC DM inspected factories in Thilawa SEZ

Deputy Minister for Commerce U Win Myint Khaing, accompanied by responsible officials, visited Hansae Myanmar Co., Ltd. located in the Thilawa Special Economic Zone, Thanlyin Township, Yangon Region, on the afternoon of June 5. During the visit, the Deputy Minister inspected the various stages of garment production for export inside the factory and gave necessary instructions.

Afterward, the Deputy Minister and officials visited the aluminum manufacturing factory of Kianjoo Can Myanmar Co., Ltd., where they observed the production of various aluminum cans. He instructed officials to distribute the products for domestic consumption and export any surplus to foreign markets.

The Deputy Minister and officials then proceeded to the pharmaceutical manufacturing factory of Zifan Pyrex Myanmar Co., Ltd. At the briefing hall, responsible officials explained the procurement of raw materials and the domestic and international distribution and sales of the manufactured pharmaceutical products. The Deputy Minister also inspected the pharmaceutical production processes inside the factory and stressed the importance of ensuring product quality. He further emphasized the need for exported pharmaceutical products to meet international standards and be competitive in global markets, as well as the importance of increasing export volumes, it’s reported.
