India and UK reaffirm strategic partnership

India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar on Thursday held talks with UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper during her first official visit to India. The two leaders reviewed progress made under all five pillars of India-UK Vision 2035, including Growth, Technology and Innovation, Defence and Security, Climate and Clean Energy, and Education.

Discussions further covered regional and global issues of mutual importance, as well as cooperation at multilateral platforms, including the Commonwealth.
