Russia’s Putin holds talks with Tanzanian counterpart in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin received his Tanzanian counterpart Samia Suluhu Hassan on Wednesday, during a three-day state visit to Moscow. During talks, Putin highlighted that bilateral trade between the two nations grew by 20% to 25% over the previous year, noting it as a positive indicator for future investment.

Both leaders also discussed on expanding economic cooperation, trade, tourism, mining, and energy. The visit marks a significant diplomatic trip and the first state visit by a Tanzanian president to Russia since 1969.
