Strengthening Cooperation: Union Minister meets with Pakistani Ambassador

Union Minister for Hotels, Tourism and Culture U Maung Myint met with Mr. Tariq Karim, Ambassador of Pakistan to Myanmar, at the Ministry on Thursday.

The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation in tourism and cultural sectors between the two countries. They discussed enhancing public-private partnerships, establishing Bagan and Taxila as sister cities, organizing religious and cultural tours, promoting tourism, and supporting human resource development. Media promotion and joint projects in textiles and other industries were also highlighted as ways to boost bilateral engagement.
