Health Sector: Myanmar Medical Council Central Executive Committee

Myanmar Medical Council Central Executive Committee held its meeting on Thrsday in Nay Pyi Taw. Union Minister for Health Prof Dr. Thet Khaing Win attended the meeting and made speech in his capacity as Patron of the Myanmar Medical Council.

He expressed his appreciation for the constructive effort of the council in providing healthcare services and its systematic regulation of ethics for healthcare personnel. The Union Minister also encouraged to emphasize safety of the patients, quality healthcare services and capacity enhancement measures, upholding the existing rules and regulations and assured to fulfill requisite assistance based on reports presented by respective organizations.

Chairman of the Myanmar Medical Council made clarifications on current work implementations and further tasks to be carried out. Attendees also made sector-wise discussions, reviewed the decisions made during the previous meeting and sought approvals.
