New Facility: New market opened in Magwe

A new market opened at Aung Myitta Ward in Magwe on Thursday. Chief Minister U Tin Ko Ko attended the opening ceremony and made a speech, saying that the regional government is striving for socio-economic development of local community, while creating employment opportunities and implementing the basic infrastructure for economy, social, health and education sectors.

He said the new market could help the street vendors to sell their goods conveniently while providing better characteristics of the city. The new market, Aung Thit Lwin, is equipped with 249 shops, with convenient facilities including concrete roads, tube-well, water tanks, power supply, drainage system, sanitation and fire safety measures.
