Implementation of La Min Project: Kayah State CM presented CSCs UIDs to the residents

A ceremony for the field issuance of Citizenship Scrutiny Cards (CSC) and Unique ID (UID) cards, as well as the formal presentation of the cards under the Ministry of Immigration and Population’s 100-day plan, was held Wednesday morning at the City Hall in Loikaw, Kayah State.

During the ceremony, Kayah State Chief Minister U Ant Maw delivered the opening remarks. To ensure the successful implementation of the "Lamin Project", the State Chief Minister presented cash rewards and Citizenship Scrutiny Cards, which were accepted by the State Department Head and local residents respectively.

Subsequently, the Speaker of the State Hluttaw and other officials presented CSC and UID cards to the respective citizens.

Following the presentations, the State Chief Minister and officials toured the mobile service stations where CSC and UID cards were being processed under the Lamin Project and warmly greeted the local residents who had come to apply for their documentation, it’s reported.
