Work Undertakings: City development and NRC Card issuance

Efforts are being made for Pathein City to meet with the city's characteristics with beautiful landscapes.

On Sunday, Chief Minister of Ayeyawady Region U Aye Kyaw inspected landscaping and upgrading works near the city entrance road and Shwe Statue roundabout. He also visited Kan Thone Sint Park and viewed the upgrading works including fencing, lighting and brick path. At Sasana Beikman, the Chief Minister viewed the process of issuing national Registration Card and UID card being carried out by the Pathein Township Immigration Office

The Ministry of Immigration and Population is conducting field services to wards and villages for issuance of NRC cards and UID screening for citizens of aged 18 and above as part of Lamin Project under the 100-day plan of the new government.

In addition, the process will be carried out for the school children of aged 10 to 18 at the basic education schools from June 1 to 31.
