Better Health Care: Hospital facilities and blood donation

Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khine Win visited North Okkalapa General Hospital on May 1 and observed the prioritization of treatment according to the severity of illnesses. He also inspected the emergency department, reviewed the use of medicines and related supplies, and oversaw staff accommodations, addressing the needs.

On May 2, the Union Minister, together with officials, attended a blood donation event at Yangon General Hospital in commemoration of the 80th Myanmar Fire Brigade Day. He encouraged participants, presented commemorative gifts, and praised their contributions.

The Union Minister also inspected the newly upgraded ICU, expanded orthopedics departments, and met patients and staff to ensure better care, reduce waiting times, and improve hospital management.

Later, the Union Minister visited Hlaingthaya People's Hospital to review patient treatment quality, proper medicine storage, cleanliness, and staff performance, giving guidance to improve overall healthcare services.
