Inspection of Sports Trainings: MOS UM inspected sports trainings in Yangon

Union Minister for Sports, U Ye Myint Tun, accompanied by responsible officials, visited the Myanmar Football Federation and the Myanma Thaing Federation on April 29 to inspect the summer sports training courses being conducted and trained there.

First, the Union Minister and officials arrived at the National Football Academy artificial turf field of the Myanmar Football Federation in Thingangyun Township, Yangon Region. They observed and encouraged the conduct of the MFF Summer Football Skills Course 2026 (2nd Batch), a summer basic football sports training course held under the supervision of the Myanmar Football Federation, and the systematic instruction and training of trainees in basic techniques.

The Union Minister delivered words of encouragement to the trainees and warmly greeted and spoke with the coaches and trainees. Subsequently, the Union Minister and officials visited the Myanma Thaing Federation's Myanma Thaing Training School in North Dagon Township. They observed and supported demonstrations of Vovinam, Pencak Silat, and Myanma Thaing by trainees attending the summer Myanma Thaing course and national selected athletes. The Union Minister delivered words of encouragement to the trainees and provided necessary guidance to responsible officials.
