Inspection of Development Affairs: Kayah State CM inspected State development affairs

Kayah State Chief Minister U Ant Maw accompanied by responsible officials, visited the office of the Kayah State Development Affairs Committee on the morning of April 29 to attend a coordination meeting where implementation plans for the committee’s activities were explained.

First, staff members of the Kayah State Development Affairs Committee individually introduced themselves.

In his opening remarks, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to accelerate project implementation to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks. He urged officials to submit requirements that need to be fulfilled or coordinated. He also stressed that urban water supply projects and road and bridge construction and renovation works must meet quality standards and be completed within the designated timeframe. In addition, he called for efforts to collect taxes, fees, and revenues to meet and exceed targets.

Afterwards, the Executive Officer of the State Development Affairs Committee and township-level Executive Officers explained the status of project implementation for the current fiscal year, staff affairs, and the availability of operational vehicles, machinery, and equipment. Members of the State Government then discussed the matters presented. The Chief Minister coordinated necessary actions and delivered concluding remarks.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials visited Water Storage Tanks No. (1) and (2), each with a capacity of 125,000 gallons, located in Mine Lone Ward, to inspect the conditions required to complete the tank construction works. Officials provided explanations on site. The Chief Minister gave necessary instructions, it’s reported.
