Training Completion Parade: YGN CM attended the training completion parade

The training completion ceremony for People’s Military Service Training Course No. (22), was held on the morning of April 29 at a local training school in the Gyophyu area of Taikkyi Township, Yangon Region. The ceremony was attended by Yangon Region Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu, Deputy Commander of the Yangon Region Command Brigadier General Tun Tun Oo, Yangon Region Minister for Social Affairs U Bo Htay, the school commandant Brigadier General Myo Min Than, senior Tatmadaw officers, departmental officials, and instructor-administrators.

First, the trainee companies saluted the school commandant. They then saluted the national flag, and the trainees recited the oath of allegiance.

Afterwards, the school commandant presented awards to recipients of the Model Soldier Award, Drill Excellence Award, Marksmanship Award, Military Ethics Award, Mine Skills Award, First Prize in Section Tactics, First Prize in Assault Operations, and Best Dormitory Award, and delivered the training completion address.

Next, Chief Minister U Aung Naing Thu met with the trainees, delivered words of encouragement, warmly greeted the training completing companies, and presented honorary cash awards, which were received by the school commandant.

A total of 443 trainees in this course received instruction in physical fitness, drill, small arms, military tactics, field engineering, field administration, and general subjects, it’s reported.
