Preparation Measures: Preparations for 70th Anniversary of the 6th Synod

Preparations are underway at Thiri Mingala KabaAye Hill in Yangon for the 70th Anniversary Celebration of the Sixth Synod.

On Sunday, Union Minister for Religious Affairs U Tin Oo Lwin inspected the preparation measures at the venue. He reviewed the completion of inscriptions in Pali, Myanmar, Roman, and English on the commemorative stones, the arrangements of exhibition areas, sale counters for books and souvenirs, ceremonial platforms, and LED displays.

He also inspected the cleanliness and proper setup at the central hall, assembly areas, and other facilities, giving instructions to ensure readiness on time. He also visited associated monasteries, hospitals, and printing centers to ensure accommodations for the members of the Sangha, emergency medical facilities, and printing of religious texts.
