Commemorative Postal Stamp: Seven new stamps to issue for 70th Anniversary of 6th Synod

The Ministry of Digital Development and Communication announced that the Myanma Post will issue 7 new special commemorative postal stamps, valued at 200 kyat, in recognition of 70th Anniversary of the 6th Synod. The stamps will be released for sale at 9:30 am on Thursday, 30 April (the Fullmoon Day of Kasone).

It will be available simultaneously at the souvenir shop in Kabaraye Hill, the Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, the Yangon and Mandalay Post Offices. As a special arrangement, commemorative date marks will be applied to postage stamps and First Day Covers purchased on the day of release at the Central post offices of Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, and Mandalay Post Offices.
