Visiting the NUAC: Meeting with university faculty

Union Minister for Hotels, Tourism, and Cultural U Maung Myint on Saturday visited the National University of Arts and Culture (Mandalay).

In meeting with the faculty and staff, the Union Minister highlighted the importance of preserving and promoting Myanmar’s cultural heritage while developing tourism and hospitality. He stressed safeguarding traditional literature, music, and customs, showcasing local arts to international visitors, and encouraging creativity in new artistic productions.

The Union Minister urged faculty members to foster cultural awareness, support sustainable development, and improve social and economic well-being through their teaching and research. Following the meeting, the Union Minister and party toured the university to inspect facilities and ongoing programs.
